Sanjay Dutt has begun shooting for his next film, which is a remake of a South blockbuster ‘Prasthanam’, in Lucknow. While there, the actor paid a visit to the Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath; the meeting had a lot to do with Sampark for Samarthan initiative. It was initiated to generate awareness about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government’s achievements in the last four years. Sanjay and Adityanath were seen engrossed in having an informal conversation.
The actor is currently in the news as his biopic ‘Sanju’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani is all set to release; it has Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Sanjay. While the biopic is slated to release, Sanjay commenced shooting for his next film on June 6, the 90th birth anniversary of his late father, Sunil Dutt.
Sanjay told the media that he misses his father. “To the pillar of my strength, happy birthday Dad. You may not be here but I feel your presence in every breath I take,” he reportedly said, adding, “I cherish the time we had and strive to imbibe your teachings. We miss you.”
The actor also shared a throwback picture of himself with Dutt Sr on Instagram. The caption of the picture read: “He lives in me… Happy Birthday Dad!”
