Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been our IT couple before it was even a thing. While the duo never really engaged in painting the town red with their PDA — apart from a few mushy posts by Virat — it was their secret, romantic Italian wedding (and their beautiful faces that beamed with love) that turned them into absolute #GOALS. And honestly, there has been no looking back since. In fact, they hand out relationship guides whenever they step out and we’re not complaining. If you’re wondering about the last time you saw that happen, it was when Anushka Sharma flew to England to by her husband Virat Kohli’s side as the cricketer took on the home team.
And, like the stars would have, Virushka has gone ahead and given us moments to gush and it’d be a shame if you missed it. So, baat yeh hai…India has won against England by 203 runs in the third Test at Trent Bridge to cut the home side’s lead in the five-match series to 2-1. But while that makes us do a little dance, Anushka has gone ahead and marked the victory with a standing ovation for her hubby and his team. That’s right…Seen with other WAGs like Radhika Rahane, Prithi Ashwin, and Tanya Yadav, Anushka couldn’t hold herself back and clapped for the men in blue.
After India delivered an all-around performance to outclass England, what made it even more momentous is the fact that Virat dedicated this win to Kerala flood victims. Speaking after the match, Virat Kohli said, “Dedicate this victory to the flood victims in Kerala. This is our bit we can do from the Indian cricket team.” Another reason to love him? Damn right, it is!
