Stree, the upcoming horror comedy featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor was the talk of the town as soon as the trailer was out. And fortunately for the makers, the buzz around it has only grown. Thanks to its stellar cast including names like Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and its groovy music that has been composed by Sachin–Jigar and Ketan Sodha. We’ve already heard the songs Milegi Milegi and Nazar Na Lag Jaaye from the film, which Rajkummar had shared last week.
Even the special song Kamariya, featuring Nora Fatehi made us groove to its tune. But just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the makers have dropped the latest track from the album “Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe” featuring Kriti Sanon and boy, is it all about comedy and horror! Composed by Sachin-Jigar and sung by Badshah, Nikhita Gandhi and the music director duo, the song shows Kriti rising from the dead and hooking up on a date with a ghost. Actually, scratch that, she clinks her glass with a skeleton! It also has Badshah and Rajkummar matching Kriti’s spooky steps and vibes.
The movie has been directed by Amar Kaushik. It is being distributed by Anil Thadani and has been produced by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna D.K, and Dinesh Vijan. Earlier, Shraddha told IANS, “It’s the first time that I am doing a horror comedy. It was a lot of fun and Rajkumar Rao is such a fantastic actor. To work with him was a dream come true. I got so much to learn from him.” The film is slated to hit theatres on August 31.
